Meet Dr. John Vedova
The philosophy behind chiropractic resonated as true with me. I saw how I could help people restore their health and not just treat symptoms.
My dad is a cardiologist and my mother is a nurse. Growing up in such a medical environment I’ve always been interested in human health. My frustration came from the fact that whatever ailments I had when treated medically were never cured, just the symptoms treated. This led me to an exploration of the ‘Alternative’ Health Care fields and the philosophy behind Chiropractic resonated as true with me. I saw how I could help people restore their health and not just treat symptoms.
Chiropractic Education
I received my first undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario, receiving a BA in Economics. After years of traveling and working, my interest in human health led me return to school to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic. I went to Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas and received my BSc. in Human Anatomy and my Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Being a Chiropractor means having a commitment to lifelong learning. Each year I take multiple continuing education courses to help refine my technique, and gain new understanding into human health and performance, enabling me to help my patients reach greater levels of well-being.
My Philosophy
My practice is a holistic look at the patients’ overall health from a perspective of stress management, exercise, nutrition, posture and structure. After a detailed examination and spinal health assessment, you set a short-term health goal of what you want from my care. I then design a detailed personalized health plan for you to reach your goal. Throughout care your progress is monitored and treatment adjusted to keep you on track to reach your goal. I look forward to meeting you in person and discussing how I can help you reach all your goals.
